Glued front edging helps you save some £££
Glued front edging makes a stone worktop appear thicker. For example, a 40-millimetre thick stone strip is glued to the front edge of a 20-millimetre thick quartz worktop to give the latter the appearance of a 40-millimetre thick quartz worktop.
Visually, this creates the impression of a thicker worktop. Also, the price per square metre of worktop material is lower for the customer and less weight is applied to kitchen base units.
